Sort of Latin Blues

ALBUM: OUT OF THE WOODS

I had the amniotic blues      It was pretty dark
I had the histrionic blues    Until he saw sparks
I had the indifferent blues    He just didn’t care
And the placebo group blues    It just wasn’t fair
Had the guitar playing blues    Not as bad as Jim Green
And the lonely man blues    And you know what that means

Some think the blues will always have their say
There’s no need to chase the blues away

I had the agnostic blues    When he just didn’t know
And the poor boy blues    He had nothing to show
And the sort of Latin Blues    With a funky beat
And the can’t dance blues    With two left feet
Had the turquoise blues    From New Mexico
And the last to leave blues    When it was time to go

Some think the blues will always have their say
There’s no need to chase the blues away

I had the political blues    Every November
The amnesiatic blues    That he can’t remember
The invisible blues    That no one could see
The incredible blues    Like you wouldn’t believe
And the dust bunny blues    made up of tiny stuff
And the hitting bottom blues    When he had enough

Some think the blues will always have their say
There’s no need to chase the blues away
